Mankind's Seven Wonders of the World - The historical Petra site in Jordan built in the 13 century BC, is famous for it's rock cut architecture and water conduit system. Set in the Petra mountains, the site was once the capital city of the Nabataeans (people of North Arabia). The image above shows the monastery of the ancient city known as Al Dier.
